Ardent – Activate, Infuse, Create – Baked by Science
The Ardent is a compact countertop device that decarbs and infuses all in one unit. It doesn’t make any noise and the smell during decarb is almost imperceptible. It’s available in 2 sizes, the FX and the mini and they each come with a carrying case if you want to take it with you.
The Ardent device has 4 settings:
- A1 – this cycle activates THC, converting THCA into THC
- A2 – this cycle activates CBD, converting CBDA into CBD
- Infuse
- Bake – you can bake right inside the until which is where the travel opportunities become evident!

Few other devices are making these claims about their decarb process so if stretching your cannabis further to make more potent edibles is important to you, this device could be the one you’re looking for.
The unit will hold up to an ounce of flower or 2 ounces of kief. You can infuse your fats right inside the stainless steel cavity but there is an accessory called a Concentrate and Infusion Sleeve. Its a simple silicone sleeve that slides right inside the device that will hold your fats and oils. Once the infusion process is complete you can slide it right out and clean the sleeve for super simple tidy up!
You can also wash the cylinder with hot soapy water or put it in the dishwasher once the detachable power base is removed.
